Young Thug appears to be preparing his first song since he was released from jail.
On Saturday, November 3, the Atlanta native broke his silence on social media with a pair of posts he uploaded to X, formerly known as Twitter. In his first post, he wrote, "Real plea deal jack!" The message refers to the plea agreement that led to his release last week. Thugger was freed from jail after Judge Paige Whitaker sentenced him to 15 years probation. His following post got fans extremely hype about what he's got coming with Lil Baby.
"Wham let’s drop one on these rats peter," he wrote.

The last time Young Thug and Lil Baby joined forces on a song was for Wham's 2022 track "Never Hating" off his It's Only Me album. The project dropped a few months after Thug, Gunna and other YSL members were arrested in connection to the RICO case. Baby supported Thug during his time behind bars, and even celebrated his release after he came home. He also responded to Thugger's request, which got fans even more excited.
"I missed you mf !!" he wrote. "Welcome home my brudda! Thank god you able To get back to the fam in good health and spirits! Wish ya none but billions jack! #whateverwhamsaygoes"
