Coldplay's Australian leg of their Music of the Spheres tour has been quite eventful. They played a show without bassist Guy Berryman for the first time ever, Chris Martin fell through a trap door onstage (he's okay), and most recently Martin went viral on social media after he paused the band's set to help a young boy who was in distress.

Martin stopped the show and motioned for the child to be carrier over the security barrier. “You can sit right here, OK? You don’t have to be squeezed," he said. As security lifted the boy over the barrier, Martin asked if they could get him some headphones. Once he was safely seated, the frontman assured, “you don’t have to be squished by all these adults is all.”

“You sit right there my little brother, OK. Better?” Martin asked before offering the kid a refreshment. “Do you want some coke or something? The drink, I mean,” he clarified as the crowd laughed. “We’ll take care of you, man.”

Coldplay is currently on the Australian and New Zealand leg of their massive Music of the Spheres world tour. Earlier this month, they released their 10th studio album Moon Music and announced another run of North American dates next year. Watch fan-shot footage of the interaction below.
