Rascal Flatts revealed dream collaborations with massive stars during a previously-released exclusive iHeartCountry interview.

The trio — made up of Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney — interviewed one another in 2017, around the time they released their album Back To Us. DeMarcus asked his bandmates during the interview which artist they’d want to collaborate with, “if you had to pick one person.” LeVox responded first with Adele, and Rooney replied, “Stevie Wonder.”

Rascal Flatts released their self-titled debut album in 2000, and have since become known for “Life Is A Highway,” “Bless The Broken Road,” “What Hurts The Most,” “Fast Cars And Freedom,” “My Wish,” “These Days,” “Mayberry” and many other career-spanning hits. The trio initially planned a farewell tour in 2020, though the pandemic prompted a change of plans. In October 2024, Rascal Flatts confirmed plans to reunite in 2025 for a 25th anniversary tour with special guests Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane. The beloved band said at the time, “it’s hard to believe that next year will be the 25th anniversary of Rascal Flatts, and that felt like the perfect time to get back in front of the fans who have given us so much.”
