G Herbo Reveals His Father Passed Away In Emotional Moment With His Son

G Herbo announced the death of his father while he was caught up in an emotional moment with his son.

On Saturday night, November 16, the Chicago rapper showed up to Kai Cenat's livestream with his young son Yosohn. While he was in the middle of a motivational speech, Herbo revealed that his father recently passed away.

"I just lost my pops two and a half weeks ago," he explained. "I still find a reason to get up and smile, to get up and work, to provide for my family, to be there for my children... my son is crying because I'm talking about his grandfather, but it's ok man. Family first."

According to Charlamagne Tha God, Herbo was actually on his way to The Breakfast Club for an interview when he found out about his father's death. Instead of straight-up cancelling on the crew, Charlamagne recalled how Herbo still pulled up to the studio and personally explained why he couldn't do the interview.

Herbo and Yosohn's appearance on Kai Cenat's show had some other tear-jerking moments. The six-year-old started to cry again while he gave a motivational speech on the livestream. His dad comforted him said his son is "very in tune with his emotions." Later on, Yosohn held back his tears and faced his fears as he got his ears pierced for the first time. Herbo was right there with him as the professional piercer quickly gave Yosohn his first piercing.
