Ohio Governor Mike DeWine To Appoint Jon Husted To Senate Seat

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is expected to pick his lieutenant governor, Jon Husted, to fill Vice President-elect JD Vance's Senate seat.
Two sources with knowledge of the decision informed NBC News.
They said the announcement would come at a Friday afternoon news conference from Columbus.
Husted would serve at least through a 2026 special election to fill the remaining two years of Vance's term.
