FireAid welcomed so many jaw-dropping surprise guests and reunions — one of them being Nirvana. The remaining members of the 90s alternative band came together for a good cause, and shocked the crowd with some iconic surprise guests in the process.
Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, bassist Krist Novoselic, rhythm guitarist Pat Smear reunited with a rotating lineup of singers to perform several songs by the band with St. Vincent joining to perform Nevermind's "Breed," Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon taking the stage to sing Bleach's "School," and Joan Jett performing Nevermind's "Territorial Pissings." Then, Grohl's daughter Violet joined her father and his bandmates to perform "All Apologies" from In Utero.
