Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts and their teammates are reacting to President Donald Trump's expected appearance at the upcoming Super Bowl.
According to TMZ, the White House confirmed that Trump would be the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl as he is expected to appear at the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles matchup on Sunday (February 9) in New Orleans.
When asked about the president attending the big game, Mahomes, whose wife, Brittany, has publicly supported Trump, suggested it was an honor.
"It's always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president," Mahomes said during a press conference ahead of the Super Bowl. "Someone that is at the top position in our country."
The Chiefs quarterback also commented on Trump praising him as a "winner."
"It's cool to hear that he's seen me play football and respects the game that I play," Mahomes said.

"I'm excited because it's the biggest game of my life and having the president there, you know, it's the best country in the world, so it'll be pretty cool," Kelce said.
