Jennifer Lopez Makes Major Move Months After Ben Affleck Divorce

Jennifer Lopez is making a major change months after finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck.

Lopez has finally found a new place to settle down in nearly one year after beginning the home-buying process. According to property records obtained by People, the "Let's Get Loud" singer has recently purchased a home near Los Angeles for around $18 million, a move that comes nearly three months after she and her ex reached an agreement on their divorce settlement.

The Unstoppable actress reportedly has been looking for a new place to call home for a while, with a source previously telling People that she had been quietly searching for a "truly exceptional" house since April 2024, which coincides with the date of separation listed on her divorce filings. Lopez filed for divorce from the Argo director in August after two years of marriage.

Affleck found his own new house in July of last year, purchasing an L.A. estate for $20.5 million. The marital home he and Lopez purchased in June 2023 for $68 million is still reportedly up for sale.

The Good Will Hunting actor recently broke his silence on his highly publicized split from the "On the Floor" singer, revealing some of the "truth" of what happened.

"There's a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something. The truth is much more quotidian than probably people would believe or would be interesting," he said, adding, "It's just a story about people trying to figure out their lives and relationships in ways that we all sort of normally do."
