Democratic Senator Cory Booker is calling out the Trump administration's policies in a marathon Senate floor speech that has passed the 14-hour mark.
On Monday (March 31), Booker began his anti-Trump speech on the Senate floor at around 7 p.m. ET and has only since paused to take questions from his Democrat allies.
In a pre-recorded video released during Booker's speech, the senator said he would be highlighting "what Donald Trump is doing to our nation," including "more reckless steps taken that are going to raise more prices for Americans."
@senbooker It’s been over 13 hours since I started speaking, and I intend to stay on the Senate floor as long as I’m physically able. I’m here to do my job, as a Senator from New Jersey, to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed by President Trump. I'm am speaking up.

The 55-year-old Senator pledged to keep the speech going "as long as I am physically able."
"I'm heading to the Senate floor because Donald Trump and Elon Musk have shown a complete disregard for the rule of law, the Constitution, and the needs of the American people," Booker said ahead of his marathon speech.
Thus far, Booker has called out the administration over funding cuts to the National Institutes of Health, efforts to remove visas from international students, immigration and deportation policies, and the dismantling of the Department of Education.
"Even if you think the admin immigration agenda doesn't apply to you, please know the reckless decisions we're seeing erodes everyone's rights ... Denying due process is a slippery slope. If people can be detained and deported without a hearing, detained and deported without due process, nothing will stop them from making mistakes with an American," the senator said.
Booker also questioned book bans in school libraries and shared concerns from the LGBTQ community. He specifically pointed to the GOP budget, which includes $4.5 trillion in tax breaks and $2 trillion in spending cuts, that is currently moving through Congress.
"This country cannot do something that is so monumentally fiscally irresponsible," Booker said.
Several Democratic lawmakers are applauding Booker's efforts on the Senate floor.
