How to Move Forward With Being Kinder

With April 28th being Global Pay It Forward Day, it would be reasonable to expect that for at least one day, more people would choose to do something kind for someone else.

Pay for the bill of the customer in the car in front of you in the drive through fast food lane or pay a compliment to someone you know or pay for a lunch for someone at work not because of anything they have done, but just to be kind.

But with all the unkind words and actions we witness pretty much all year long, from people who say something mean to someone else to drivers who cut you off to shoppers who cut in line, it would be nice if every day was a Pay It Forward Day, and every day would be about being kind to someone for no other reason than just being kind.

The idea of paying it forward is to a way to be thankful for someone being kind to you by being kind to someone else whether they deserve it or not.

Can you imagine what it would be like if everyone was kind to one another all the time? Of course it won’t happen. But with Pay It Forward Day being a reminder, it would be nice to see the idea moving forward.
