This is especially true for fried chicken, a meal so popular that many restaurants around the country have put their own twist on the dish.
According to a list compiled by Cheapism, the best "hole-in-the-wall" fried chicken joint in all of Georgia is Newt's Fried Chicken in West Point, which has has perfected its take on the classic dish. Newt's Fried Chicken, which has a 4.4 star rating on Google and nearly 1,000 reviews, is located at inside the Chevron at 1860 GA Highway 18.
