RECIPES:
CRAB STUFFED JALAPENO POPPERS – This recipe popped up on Facebook and definitely had my mouth watering! IN a bowl mix softened cream cheese, drained crab meat, shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Slice jalapenos the long way and scoop out the seeds and fill with your cream cheese mixture and put on parchment lined baking sheet and cook for 20 minutes or until jalapenos are soft. I like a little more heat, so I drizzled hot honey on top before I served.
FRENCH ONION GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE – This one was from Hungry Recipes. I a skillet cook thinly sliced Vidalia onions in butter and cook until caramelized, then add in ground beef and cook until brown and drain fat, then add in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, fresh thyme, salt and pepper and simmer for 5-10 minutes. In the skillet add cooked egg noodles, sour cream, shredded mozzarella cheese and mix and add shredded Swiss cheese to the top and French fried onions and bake at 350 until cheese is melted and French-fried onions are golden. (20 minutes or so and then you can broil).
