Disturbing New Details On Nurse Accused Of Having Sex With Underage Stepson

Disturbing new details on a Florida nurse who was stripped of her medical license after allegedly being caught by her husband having sex with her 15-year-old stepson have been revealed.

Alexis Von Yates, 35, pleaded not guilty to felony lewd or lascivious battery with a victim age 12 to 16 ahead of her criminal trial, Law & Crime reports. The website reports that Von Vates contacted the teenager after they were caught by his father and compared their genitalia.

“She commented on not realizing how big ‘IT’ looked. Saying it looked like his father’s penis with younger skin,” the teenager told police via Law & Crime.

The stepmother also ranked the teenager's sexual performance as a seven out of 10, claiming he "had been around the block," though the two hadn't seen each other in person since the encounter, according to an affidavit. Von Yates allegedly blamed the teenager for the incident, calling him a "master manipulator."

Several relatives also blamed the teen, including his father, who allegedly called his own father and threatened to "strangle (his son) then kill himself," according to the affidavit. The father eventually assured his son that he was on his side and that he would testify against Von Yates three months later, though he failed to define his relationship with his wife, saying that it was "complicated," according to the report.

Von Yates had her single-state nursing license revoked last week, according to a statement shared by the Florida Department of Health.

“Nurses are placed in a position of trust,” the order states. “Therefore, it is imperative that they demonstrate good judgment and good moral character. Ms. Yates’ decision to engage in sexual activity with a minor child and/or her decision to engage in oral and penetrative sex indicates that she lacks the good judgment and moral character necessary to be a registered nurse."

The alleged incident occurred while the boy was visiting his father in Ocala, Florida, for summer vacation last summer. Von Yates allegedly put her two children to bed and hung out with the 15-year-old on the night of July 26, 2024.

The two were reported to have used a THC vape, played video games and watched movies while his father worked late as a lineman, according to a Marion County arrest affidavit. Von Yates allegedly put on the horror movie Terrorizer 2 at around 1:00 a.m., at which point she told the minor that the movie was boring and that she was "horny" because “she had not had sex in two weeks and she was on her period,” the 15-year-old told police.

The two were reported to have initially cuddled before the teenager kissed Von Yates on the neck and they proceeded to make out, at which point she claimed to have acknowledged told him, "I wish you were 18, because you're not old enough," though the boy denied her apprehension, according to the affidavit. Von Yates then "kicked off" her panties, at which point the two had oral sex and intercourse without a condom, according to police.

The father returned to the home and found his wife and son completely naked on the couch. The teenager said he ran out of the house but allegedly heard Von Yates explain to her husband that he looked like his father when he was younger, according to the affidavit.

The father then drove his son to his grandparents' house, claiming the boy had "ruined his life," while drinking a beer during the drive, according to the affidavit. Von Yates allegedly engaged in several acts of seduction and flirtation with the boy prior to the incident taking place and contacted him the following day, claiming she wished they kept having sex and hadn't been discovered.

Von Yates was arrested in November when a concerned family member contacted police after the boy's father opted not to, according to Ocala News.
