In Boone County, Kentucky, a father took swift action after discovering a naked man in his 13-year-old daughter's bedroom early Monday (April 28). The father, whose identity is withheld to protect his daughter, confronted Parker D. Kramer, a 20-year-old from Louisville, who had driven 90 miles to meet the girl. The father chased Kramer out of the house, firing three warning shots into the ground, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Kramer, who faces charges of burglary, rape, and sodomy, had reportedly met the girl two weeks prior through family connections in the area, not online. The girl believed Kramer was 15, but he is actually 20. After being identified by the father through a driver's license photo, Kramer was apprehended around 2:30 a.m. near Mt. Zion Road and I-75, still without pants, by a police drone.

Major Philip Ridgell of the Boone County Sheriff's Department stated that Kramer admitted to actions leading to the charges. He is currently held in Boone County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 5. At this hearing, a judge will decide whether to advance the case to a grand jury.
