Blake Lively recently admitted that raising a boy is a very different experience than raising a girl.
The Another Simple Favor actress, who shares daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and son Olin, 2, with husband Ryan Reynolds, commented on her children's varied personalities during the Thursday (May 1) episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers.
"Boys are crazy," she quipped before doting on her "romantic" toddler.
"My little boy is so romantic. When I walk in, he goes, ‘Mama, my love!' I mean he's just a dream. It’s different. He just announces that I’m the love of his life at all times, which is just the best feeling in the world. I get dressed every day like I’m a girl in middle school. Like, 'Oh, my gosh … I hope he, like, says something.'"
The Gossip Girl actress also remarked on what it's like having four young children at home, referring to the experience as "chaos at all times," but in the best way. When asked if her three girls also compliment her outfits, Lively revealed that one of her daughters is "the funniest person in the world, but she will definitely rule the world with authoritarian leadership."
The star's year has been filled with the "highest highs and lowest lows," and her family has been by her side through it all.
"They're just my lifeline. Like, no matter what day I'm having I have to be Disneyland every day for them, and so, it's like the best."
