Westside Gunn Praises Doechii's Verse On 'Egypt' Remix: 'She Bodied This'

Westside Gunn had to get Doechii to hop on the remix to his stand-out track from his latest project after she gave it her seal of approval.

On Friday, May 2, the Griselda Records co-founder released his "Egypt (Remix)" featuring the Florida rapper. The song begins with the original sample of Doechii's interview, in which she praises Westside Gunn and the late MF Doom. After Gunn drops his bars, the TDE signee goes off with her slick verse.

"Roberto Cavalli, see the nipples through my shirt/My Daisy Dukes prolly drag a nigga through the dirt," she spits.

"I wanna Thank @officialdoechii for this Body Bag!!!!" Gunn wrote on X. "She’s ALWAYS gave me my 🌹 and I’m forever grateful and humble, u didn’t have to bless me like this fresh from the Grammy win 🤲🏽 I REALLY ♥️ this record it’s so FUN!!!!!"

"I ALSO wanna say she bodied this the same day she heard the record last week, a true Emcee and she deserves everything she got, let’s keep pushing ART & CULTURE and let’s push this to the masses!!!!!!!!" he added.

Westside Gunn dropped his Heels Have Eyes EP last month. The project has five tracks with "Egypt" as the outro. Once she heard the song, Doechii immediately showed Gunn some love.
