Sabrina Carpenter's Pantsless Met Gala Look Is A Must-See

Sabrina Carpenter served up some spice with her usual Short n' Sweet at this year's Met Gala.

The "Espresso" songstress exuded timeless glamor in a burgundy Louis Vitton bodysuit without pants. The look featured a pinstripe blazer with long coattails, a matching bodysuit with a sweetheart neckline, and tall, burgundy heels. Carpenter gracefully ascended the steps with a smile, revealing that the ensemble was inspired by gala co-chair Pharrell Williams, who told her, "You’re quite short, so no pants for you," per Page Six.

According to Cosmopolitan, the blonde bombshell, dressed to impress, ran into her ex, Barry Keoghan, whom she attended last year's Met Gala with, on the red carpet.

This year's Met Gala theme is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, where dandyism meets fashion meets intention meets Black excellence.

Max Hollein, The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Marina Kellen French Director and Chief Executive Officer, explained the importance of the theme, drawing on the legacy of Black-led innovation and creative expression.

"This spring's event will mark the opening of the exhibition Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, a profoundly scholarly show centering an important legacy of Black-led sartorial innovation and creative expression that continues to inspire and shape our world today."

The exhibition of the same name, open to the public starting May 10, is the first in 22 years to focus exclusively on menswear.
