ERNEST joined forces with Miranda Lambert, Snoop Dogg, Jake Worthington and three new country artists on his new album — blending “honky tonk, Western swing, ‘90s country” and other influences — that released on Wednesday (May 7).
The 16-track record, Cadillac Sessions, marks a new era for ERNEST as the Nashville, Tennessee-born country star teams up with mainstay artists and introduces Chandler Walters, Cody Lohden and Rhys Rutherford. Cadillac Sessions is packed with “organic sonics of honky tonk, Western swing, ‘90s country, and more collide with vivid imagery and modern hooks, becoming a hybrid of classic and cutting edge which positions each artist’s skill,” reads a press release issued Wednesday morning. The production process was filmed in a documentary style, including, for example, the visual of ERNEST and Lambert teaming up on “Another Thing To Love” at Castle Recording Studios in Music City.
“We didn’t hold anything back. There is a timeless Americana feel and the old-Nashville mentality of ‘write your songs’ – and those guys wrote their songs,” the two-time 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards nominee said in a statement of the first-ever DeVille Records project. “They all love classic country the same way I do, and we’re also with the times of the modern era – we ride those waves really well, too. I’m just happy to shed a little light on what they’re able to do.”
ERNEST added when he posted a photo with Walters, Lohden and Rutherford that he’s “so proud of these boys and we’re just getting started.” ERNEST will celebrate with an album release party on Monday, May 12 at Loser’s in Nashville, Tennessee. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. show. Find the full Cadillac Sessions on iHeartRadio here. See the full track list below.
