The Grammy-winning band Los Lonely Boys is set to perform at the New York State Fair in Syracuse on Sunday, August 24, at 1 p.m. The performance will take place on the Chevy Court stage and is included with the fair's admission, making it accessible to all attendees. The fair runs from August 20 through September 1.
Los Lonely Boys, a Texas-based trio of brothers Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza, gained fame with their 2003 hit single "Heaven." Their unique sound, known as "Texican Rock & Roll," blends rock, blues, soul, country, and Tejano music. The band was discovered by Willie Nelson, who helped them rise to fame by showcasing them at Farm Aid and supporting their initial recordings.
According to Fair Director Julie LaFave, "The journey of the Garza brothers from small-town musicians to Grammy winners embodies the inspiring spirit and variety our concert series are known for." The New York State Fair's Chevrolet Music Series will feature over 40 national acts, including Los Lonely Boys, with performances scheduled daily at Chevy Court and Suburban Park.
The fair is recognized as one of the top five state fairs in the nation and aims to provide diverse entertainment options for all visitors. Admission to the fair is $8 for adults, while children under 12 and seniors aged 65 and older can enter for free.
