Young Thug gave fans an update about the release date of his highly anticipated album.
On Tuesday, May 6, a video of Thugger while surrounded by supporters shouting at him made the rounds on social media. In the clip, one person asked when he plans to drop his upcoming LP UY Scuti. The Atlanta rapper was very direct when he replied, "June." The fan followed up and asked if Thug's album would be out by the time he hits the stage for his headlining performance at Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash Festival in Chicago.
"Absolutely," he answered.

Fans have been impatiently waiting for Young Thug's album for quite some time. The hype for his fourth studio LP began when he was released from jail after he reached a plea agreement in the YSL RICO case last October. Since then, the 33-year-old has been locked in the studio with numerous artists including Lil Baby and Future. The trio collaborated on "Dum, Dumb & Dumber" for Baby's WHAM album, and are reportedly working on a joint album.
While the details on the joint album have been scarce, Young Thug has been focused on his solo album for the past few months. He first announced the album title in March by rocking it on the back of a basketball jersey and launching social media accounts with the same name. Last month, he debuted the album's first single, "Money On Money" featuring Future, and shared the official music video. Fans initially believed the album would drop this week after Thug's girlfriend, Mariah The Scientist, commented on a post that she "can't wait until May 9," but clearly that's not the case.
Look out for Young Thug's UY Scuti album coming in June.
