Amber Heard Announces Birth Of Twins: 'Elated Beyond Words'

Amber Heard is a mom of three after revealing she recently welcomed twins.

The Aquaman actress took to her Instagram on Sunday (May 11) for a very special Mother's Day announcement, sharing the news that she had added two new members to her family with the birth of her twins, daughter Agnes and son Ocean. She is also a mom to 4-year-old daughter Oonagh, born via surrogate, per Page Six.

"Mother's Day 2025 will be one I'll never forget," she wrote in a heartfelt caption paired with a snap of her little ones' feet. "This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I've strived to build for years. Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full."

Heard explained how her life has changed for the better since first becoming a mom and how her twins have added to the joy she feels after overcoming fertility issues to give life to her "dream family" on her own terms.

"When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn't possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!! Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully."

Heard concluded her post with a message of support to all the moms of the world, writing, "To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you."

A spokesperson for Heard confirmed in December 2024 that she was "delighted" to be expanding her family, though it wasn't revealed at the time that her new addition would be twins.
