Sometimes a special occasion calls for a celebration at a special restaurant, a place where you can splurge a bit and treat yourself to a pricey meal full of delicious food, incredible service and ambiance for a memorable experience fit for the occasion you are celebrating.

LoveFood compiled a list of the "most expensive restaurant" in every state, basing its choices on "the priciest main course or tasting menu, and avoiding spots with just one very expensive dish." According to the site, the top spot in all of Arizona is Bourbon Steak in Scottsdale, which has mouthwatering steak options that are worth the sky-high price.

Bourbon Steak, which has a 4.4 star rating on Google and more than 500 reviews, is located inside the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess at 7575 E. Princess Drive.

Here's what the site had to say about this expensive Grand Canyon State spot:

"With the likes of Asian-influenced wagyu hot rock on the appetizer menu, it's no surprise that Bourbon Steak goes big on luxury. Once again, it's steak that breaks the bank at this spot inside the sleek Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hotel. The restaurant has options from a 12oz New York strip, [$75], right up to the dizzy heights of the 32oz hay-smoked tomahawk, clocking in at [$218]. It is a hefty size, though, so you may have some leftovers to take home and make the best-ever steak sandwich the following day."
