Mother's Day Weekend

May 12, 2025

Well, with all the rain our Friday night baseball game was rained out. . . .so it was a night in. Dylan had a friend over, Parker was at a school play and I just relaxed.

Saturday, another rainy day! No opening day festivities, no baseball, again! I was craving chinese food so I made homemade chinese food! I made smashed dumplings, crab rangoon dip and pork strips . . .all so good! Then I carted Parker to and from work, watched the Celtics, had some friends over, Dylan went to a movie and I called it a day.

Sunday, Happy Mother's Day! We had a mom's day brunch at my house with my mom, sister, and mother in law. Grammy J even popped by! I woke up early and started cooking, took Otis for a nice, non rainy walk and then mowed the lawn, finally! After eveyone left I just sat in the sun! I really needed the vitamin D.

Hope all the mama's had a great Mother's Day! I hope the rest of you had a great weekend.
