Sometimes a special occasion calls for a celebration at a special restaurant, a place where you can splurge a bit and treat yourself to a pricey meal full of delicious food, incredible service and ambiance for a memorable experience fit for the occasion you are celebrating.
LoveFood compiled a list of the "most expensive restaurant" in every state, basing its choices on "the priciest main course or tasting menu, and avoiding spots with just one very expensive dish." According to the site, the top spot in all of Washington is The Metropolitan Grill in Seattle, which has mouthwatering steak options that are worth the sky-high price.
The Metropolitan Grill, which has a 4.6 star rating on Google and more than 3,700 reviews, is located at 820 2nd Avenue.
Here's what the site had to say about this expensive Evergreen State spot:
"The Met, as it's known, has a prestigious location inside the 1903 Marion Building in downtown Seattle. The menu is suitably prestigious too, with an emphasis on expensive cuts of meat. The priciest main course is the Olive Beef Filet – 6oz of Japanese A5 beef for [$205]. A cheaper option is to share the classic chateaubriand for two [$1905], which is carved at the table and served with sides."
