Cassie told the court she was too scared to turn down Sean "Diddy" Combs' demands for freak-offs while they were together.

The very pregnant singer was called on by the prosecution to testify during her ex-boyfriend's sex trafficking trial in New York City on Tuesday, May 13. She began by telling the court her age, occupation and how long she dated Combs. The prosecutor asked her if they had gotten into arguments during their relationship. Cassie answered yes and said they would "result in violence, dragging." Cassie reportedly had tears in her eyes as she testified about the bruises and black-eyes she received after Combs allegedly stomped her in the head.

After detailing the injuries she sustained from the beatings, Cassie was shown the 2016 video of her and Combs at the InterContinental. said the now-infamous video was taken after she and Combs hosted one of their many freak-off sex parties. She explained what the event entailed and confirmed that sex workers were hired to participate. Cassie admitted she felt "confused" and "nervous" when Combs first asked her to partake in a freak-off.

She agreed, but it became something she didn't want to do as they became more frequent. Cassie also said she "didn't know what 'no' would turn into." Cassie said she was afraid she would make Combs angry if she turned down the freak-offs. She told the court that he threatened to blackmail her with photos and videos of her having sex with sex workers.

The 38-year-old mother of two said their relationship started in 2007 after she was signed to Bad Boy Records. Even though he was still publicly tied to Kim Porter at the time, Cassie said they "had fun" together. Things started to get serious after Combs kissed her at her 21st birthday party in Las Vegas. Cassie said she would get "nervous" when Combs invited her to his room at the Trump Hotel in New York because she thought they were going to discuss her music, but ended up having sex. She said he introduced her to oral sex, which she "didn't understand" at the time. She also visited him in Miami, where he gave her ecstasy for the first time.

This is the first time Cassie is speaking openly about what she endured during her 10-year relationship with Combs. The lawsuit she filed in November 2023 inspired other alleged victims to come forward with their violent experiences at the hands of Combs. Since then, she reportedly gave the government "laptops" full of photos and documents from their time together. She's expected to appear on the witness stand through the end of the week.

Combs is charged with five counts of sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution and racketeering conspiracy. None of the charges are directly related to Cassie or the infamous 2016 video. Combs pleaded not guilty to all charges. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
