Elizabeth Hurley said she and country star Billy Ray Cyrus “are very happy” amid the couple’s budding romance.

Hurley, 59, attended the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's 2025 Hot Pink Party on Tuesday (May 13). According to a report from PEOPLE on Wednesday morning (May 14), the actress told European news outlet RTL TV that she has “to go back to England tomorrow, but Billy will come to England soon. …We are very happy, we both love country music, we both love the country, and we both love our kids. We're happy together.”

Hurley and Cyrus, 63, met while filming Christmas in Paradise together in 2022. They first sparked dating rumors when they shared a flirty photo together on Easter. Since then, they’ve shared other romanic photos together and publicly confirmed the relationship.

The new relationship with Hurley takes place months after Cyrus finalized his divorce from Australian singer-songwriter FIREROSE, 37, also known as Johanna Rose Hodges. Cyrus filed for divorce less than one year into the marriage. He split from ex-wife Tish Cyrus in 2022. They share five children, including Brandi Cyrus, 37, and Trace Cyrus, 35 — both of whom the singer-songwriter adopted when he married their mother — Braison Cyrus, 30, and daughters Miley Cyrus, 32, and Noah Cyrus, 25. Cyrus is also a father to son Christopher Cody Cyrus, 32, from a previous relationship.

Hurley has one child, son Damian Hurley, 23, whom she welcomed with late businessman and film producer Steve Bing. Hurley was previously married to Arun Nayar, 60, from 2007 to 2011.
