Nicole Kidman Shares One Piece Of Dating Advice Everyone Should Know

Nicole Kidman has some advice for all the single people out there looking for love.

Kidman stars as wellness guru Masha Dmitrichenko on Hulu's Nine Perfect Strangers, and at the premiere for the series' second season on Thursday (May 15), she channeled her character to share her own piece of advice for those navigating the dating scene, per People.

"I haven't done a lot of dating, but hold your power," the Babygirl star said. "Don't give up your power. There you go. Do you like that? Yeah. Know who you are and hold onto your power. Don't give it up."

The Practical Magic actress knows a thing or two about being lucky in love. She was married to Eyes Wide Shut co-star Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001 before their split and was also briefly engaged to musician Lenny Kravitz. She has been married to country superstar Keith Urban since 2006 and the couple shares two daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Kidman's advice also extends outside of the realm of love. She offered up a suggestion for how to handle walking into a room or event where everyone around is a stranger.

"It depends what personality they are, right? An introvert, you got to push through your discomfort," she said. "An extrovert, bring it down a notch."
