How does Katy Perry actually feel about being called "the most hated person on the internet"? She has her fans to thank for the support and she is setting the tone for how to deal with haters.

The songstress was ridiculed after her viral trip to space and addressed the crowd at one of her recent tour stops.

“Wow, they said I was ‘the most hated person on the Internet’. I think that’s false," Katy told fans in between songs, to which they erupted into cheers and applause.

The singer also commented on a fans Instagram post addressing the hate: "Please know I am OK, I have done a lot work around knowing who I am, what is real and what is important to me. When the ‘online’ world tries to make me a human piñata, I take it with grace and send them love, cause I know so many people are hurting in so many ways and the internet is…a dumping ground for unhinged and unhealed.”

Tanya Rad shared on-air she's taking Katy's response as a learning tool: to trash someone else, you have to be going through it yourself so don't take it personally!
