Brittany Snow Details Dating Disaster With ‘Very Famous' Celeb

Even celebrities have bad first dates.

Brittany Snow recently stopped by the In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele podcast where she recounted a dating disaster from her late 20s with another celebrity after meeting on the exclusive dating app Raya, per People.

"It was like a long time ago. It was when it first started and I remember that one of the first dates I'd ever gone on from Raya was this very famous DJ," she said, confirming that it was neither Diplo nor Martin Garrix.

The Hairspray actress said she and her unnamed date had been on a couple dates when they were hanging out at his house and were "mid-makeout" on his couch when he unexpectedly fell asleep.

"I think it was the first and second and third date that he fell asleep, once, while we were making out... I'm not kidding, Swear to you," she said, noting that it had been "late" at the time and they weren't "doing anything very spicy."

She recalled how she was kissing him and then suddenly "felt like no kissing back," adding, "There wasn't any reciprocation to the kissing and I looked at him and I pulled back and he was just dead asleep."

The Pitch Perfect star, 39, seemed to be very understanding of the situation, especially as he was "really apologetic," and they even went out again about a week later. Unfortunately, the "same thing" happened.

"I've never slept with this guy, so it didn't even get to anything like this — and then once again, we're making out, he is back asleep," she said, adding that she "took it personally" and joking, "Wow, I must really be just so hot."

Though she didn't reveal the identity of her mystery date, Snow went on to find love elsewhere, marrying Selling the OC star Tyler Stanaland in March 2020. She eventually filed for divorce in January 2023, months after they announced their separation in September 2022.
