Katy Perry Laughs Off Wardrobe Malfunction After Nearly Losing Bra Onstage

Katy Perry proved that she's a pro when it comes to navigating mid-performance mishaps after nearly losing a vital piece of her wardrobe onstage.

The "Woman's World" singer experienced a wardrobe malfunction on Saturday (May 17) while in Las Vegas for her Lifetimes tour. As she performed her song "Part of Me," she ran across the stage when the reflective cone bra she wore to match her boots and briefs came undone, per People. Perry slowed down and switched up her energetic moves for a more controlled strut as she held the top close to her body.

"Oh s---, my bra came off," she said, playing off the near-miss as she walked around during an instrumental break before someone came out to clasp her bra back together. Once her top was secure, she joked to the crowd, "Sorry guys, you didn't pay that much," before continuing on with the performance. The moment was captured by a fan in the crowd and shared on TikTok.

Perry kicked off her Lifetimes tour last month, shortly after her historic flight to the edge of space. While many fans have been loving the futuristic, spacey set, others have had a harsher response. Earlier this month, Perry clapped back at critics saying she "can't dance," and last week she responded to claims that she has become "the most hated person on the internet."
