Chris Brown had a special message for fans after he was released from jail in the U.K.
On Wednesday, May 21, the Grammy award-winning singer secured his release from police custody after a judge approved a $6.7 million bail package. He was required to pay $5.3 million immediately and will have to pay the rest by next week. Soon after he got out of jail, Breezy took to Instagram to talk to his fans. He kept it brief as he confirmed his plans to kick off his "Breezy Bowl XX World Tour" in Amsterdam in a few weeks.
“FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!!! BREEZYBOWL," he wrote.
Chris Brown spent the past few days in jail after he was arrested last week on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm on music producer Abe Diaw. The altercation reportedly occurred at The Tape nightclub in London on February 19, 2023. At the time, Diaw claimed Brown hit him in the head several times with a bottle of tequila. After his knees buckled, Diaw alleged Brown punched and kicked him while he was on the ground.
Diaw sought medical treatment at a hospital after the alleged unprovoked attack and claimed he needed crutches to walk while he recovered. He also filed a lawsuit against Brown for $16 million following the incident.
Breezy's tour will begin as planned with a sold-out show in the Netherlands on June 8. He plans to hit up other European countries, including The U.K., throughout the first half of the summer. He's expected to begin the U.S. leg of his tour in Miami on July 30.
