An enlightening new survey from the Pew Research Center explores Americans' interest in astrology, tarot cards, and fortune-telling. The rather exhaustive study, which polled 9,593 people, was reportedly conducted in October of last year with the findings released on Wednesday. The overarching result of the survey was that 30% of the respondents turned to one of the three divination practices "at least once or twice a year." Of that group, 10% indicated that they believe soothsaying provided "helpful insights" with seven percent saying they rely on astrology, tarot cards, or fortune-telling "at least a little" when making significant life decisions.
