Elly De La Cruz belted two solo homers, totaling 887-feet, including a tie breaking clout in the 6th. Brady Singer pitched seven strong innings vs his former team. The Reds pen handled the final six outs for the second consecutive game.
The Reds padded a 3-2 lead with three 8th inning runs, finished the game with six unanswered runs.
Led 1-0 2nd, trailed 2-1 2nd, 2-2 4th, led 3-2 6th, 6-2 8th, 7-2 9th.
The Reds (28-28) take the series and will go for the sweep Wednesday.
