Influencer Haley Kalil Posts Own Obituary

Influencer Haley Kalil posted her own obituary on her social media accounts amid death rumors this week.
Kalil, 32, who has more than 15 million followers across her social media platforms, initially shared a video of herself reacting to a clip in which a narration states, "Haley Baylee was found dead. The internet is in total [shambles]."
"I mean, R.I.P. I guess?" Kalil responded as the clip spliced to her reaction in a post that was captioned with, "Wait wha-."
Kalil then shared a second video of her fake obituary, which included the text "Forever in our hearts" over her image and her social media handle, along with the song 'One Sweet Day' by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men.
"August 6, 1992 - May 25, 2025 I guess," the graphic states. "Cause of Death: maybe foul play idk yet.
"A funeral service will be held this week whenever I have time because I think Im still alive so bring gifts."
"This was news to me," she wrote in the caption.
Thousands of followers posted sarcastic sympathetic messages in response to the apparent fake death rumors.
"It's next level when you can memorialize yourself🕊️," one user wrote.
"It’s like she’s still here," another posted.
"Haley really got the best meme to milk to 'death' 😭😭🥀," a third wrote.
Kalil won Sports Illustrated's Model Search prior to building a massive social media following through comedic content and fan-girl interactions with celebrities, with 15 million followers in total across all platforms, according to her CAA bio.
