Brewers 9 Reds 1

Well, so much for that momentum from Tuesday night…..

The Brewers belted two two-run homers, tagging Andrew Abbott for a season high five runs, to secure a 12th consecutive series over the Reds (30-33). Incredibly, the Reds are now winless over 39 consecutive series after dropping Game 1.

The Brewers battered the just signed Wade Miley for four runs on six hits over the final two frames, including a three-run shot.

The Reds are now 0-25 when trailing after six innings. Trailed 1-0 3rd, 3-0 5th, 3-1 5th, 5-1 6th, 6-1 8th, 9-1 9th.

A Cubs win tonight would drop the Reds 10 games back in the Central.
