Zac Brown said he’s “running’ out of f***s to give” in a NSFW lyric that appears in the band’s newest carefree single.
“This one’s for anyone who’s been through the fire and came out lighter,” Zac Brown Band said of “I Ain’t Worried About It” ahead of its release on Friday (June 6). The song sees the nine-member group opting to ditch their worries about others telling them how to live their lives, about the world “on fire,” about money and more. Brown teamed up with bandmate John Driskell Hopkins, plus songwriters Chris Gelbuda and Channing Wilson to bring “I Ain’t Worried About It” to life.
“Ohh this life is really whatever you make it/ There’s so much good in the world for the taking, ya/ Just take a look at the sky up above/ All that matters is love love love love love”
“I Ain’t Worried About It” is the latest single to release from Zac Brown Band since No Wake Zone, a 5-track project that arrived in September 2024. The EP included “Tie Up,” “My Kind Of Medicine,” “Two Blue Chairs & You,” “I Lost It,” and “Pirates & Parrots” featuring Mac McAnally, which served as a tribute to late music legend Jimmy Buffett. “I Ain’t Worried About It” joins a long list of career-spanning anthems by the band, including “Chicken Fried,” “Same Boat,” “Knee Deep,” “Colder Weather,” “Whatever it Is,” “Toes” and more.
