Sydney Sweeney underwent a significant physical transformation to portray a professional athlete in an upcoming biopic.

The Anyone But You actress recently sat down with W Magazine to discuss the extensive alterations her body endured to portray International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee Christy Martin, including gaining 30 pounds.

"I loved it. I came on board to play Christy, and I had about three and a half months of training. I started eating. I weight-trained in the morning for an hour, kick-boxed midday for about two hours, and then weight-trained again at night for an hour."

Sweeney admitted her body was completely different after training and changing her diet, so much so that she went up four pant sizes.

"I didn’t fit in any of my clothes. I’m usually a size 23 in jeans, and I was wearing a size 27. My boobs got bigger. And my butt got huge. It was crazy! I was like, 'Oh, my god.'" Overall, the Euphoria star was extremely grateful for the experience because it made her feel "crazy strong."

"It was amazing. I was so strong, like crazy strong."

According to US Weekly, when filming wrapped, she had seven weeks to lose all the weight for a new role that required her to be thinner. The Christy Martin biopic, starring Sydney Sweeney, is slated for release this fall!
