Watch Thomas Rhett Hilariously Prank Other Country Stars In Viral Trend

Thomas Rhett called a few other country stars to take part in a viral social media trend.

Rhett called Jordan Davis, Lady A’s Charles Kelley, Jason Aldean and Russell Dickerson because he “just wanted to say goodnight.” The viral trend shows a man calling his friends to say “goodnight” to them, and capturing their unexpected responses.

“I’m just getting in the bed and I just wanted to call you and say goodnight, and hope you have sweet dreams,” Rhett said when he prank called his friends.

“What? You just want to tell me goodnight?” Davis replied, as Rhett began to laugh. “Is this a joke?”

Kelley said he was watching golf highlights and had just sent his son to bed after watching a movie as a family. He laughed when Rhett said “goodnight. I hope you have sweet dreams. The Lady A star said “thank you for that. I needed that.” He added on his Instagram story on Wednesday (June 11), “you are a nut! I thought you just wanted to be sweet!”

Rhett could hardly hold back his laughter when Aldean answered the phone, and got called out when Dickerson knew the “goodnight” trend before Rhett had a chance to say it. Watch Rhett make the prank calls here:
