Israel is facing missile attacks from Iran following a preemptive strike by Israel on Iran's nuclear and military facilities. The Israeli military confirmed that Iran launched over 100 drones in response to the attack, which targeted key sites, including the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Center and the Natanz nuclear enrichment facility. These strikes resulted in the deaths of several senior Iranian commanders, including Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, the head of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In the wake of the attacks, Israeli cities like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem have activated sirens as a precaution. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have mobilized reservists under the ongoing military operation named "Rising Lion." The IDF has also intercepted drones launched by Iran, with interceptions occurring in Saudi Arabian, Syrian, and Jordanian airspace.

President Donald Trump placed the blame on Iran for failing to reach a nuclear deal with the United States.

The situation has also drawn international attention, with Russian President Vladimir Putin offering to mediate and French President Emmanuel Macron calling for restraint.

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, vowed severe punishment for Israel's actions, while the Iranian government labeled the attacks a "declaration of war." The conflict marks the most significant escalation between the two nations since the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s. As tensions rise, the international community remains on high alert, urging both sides to avoid further escalation.
