Clipse fans were treated to a preview of their upcoming album, and the duo's collaborations with Hip-Hop's finest MCs got the streets talking.
On Monday, June 23, Pusha T, Malice, and Pharrell Williams played "Whips & Chains" featuring Kendrick Lamar to an intimate crowd on a rooftop in Paris, France. In the clip, you can see all three artists vibe out as K.Dot's verse blares from the speakers.
"Let's be clear, hip-hop died again/Half of my profits may go to Rakim," Dot spits. "How many Judases done let me down?/But f**k it, the West mine's, we right now/Therapy showed me how to open up/It also showed me I don't give a f**k."

As fans know by now, Kendrick's verse on Clipse's anticipated track from Let God Sort Em Out sparked a rift between the Virginia-based duo and their longtime record label, Def Jam. Push and Malice told GQ that label executives threatened to cut ties with them if they included the song on their upcoming album amid UMG's legal battle with Lamar's foe Drake. After they refused, the duo's manager, Steven Victor, said Clipse had to pay a seven-figure sum to buy themselves out of their contract and Push's solo deal with Def Jam. Their fallout with Def Jam led to their new deal with Roc Nation Distribution.
In addition to "Whips & Chains," Clipse also fed the fans a preview of their first-ever collaboration with Nas. Push and Malice sent their new album over to LeBron James, who decided to share a clip of the duo's song with Nasir on his Instagram Story.
"Single-handedly boosted rap to its truest place," Nas raps. "F**k speakin' candidly, I wanted to rejuvenated hip-hop into its newest place."
Clipse's first new album in 15 years is set to drop on July 11. Check out the snippet of their collaboration with Nas below.
