Watch Billie Joe Armstrong Abruptly Stop Green Day Set To Yell At Fan

Green Day are currently on tour in Europe, and Billie Joe Armstrong nearly got in a fight with a fan in the front row during their recent set at the Hurricane Festival in Germany. Video footage shows the frontman yell something at the person and then abruptly stop performing during "Jesus of Suburbia" and saying, “You f**king better quit it or I’ll beat your a**. You understand me?" The culprit must have listened because he quickly picked his guitar back up and continued playing.
According to a Reddit user, "the 'fan' was shooting water with a f**king water pistol at Billies face for an hour … the show started at midnight so it was nearly 1 am when this happened."
After Europe, Green Day head to North American briefly before touring South America. They'll spend the latter part of September in the US, playing sets at Riot Fest, Oceans Calling Festival and Ohana Festival.

Armstrong was one of many rockstars to honor Brian Willson after news of the Beach Boys founder's passing broke on June 11, sharing a cover of the The Beach Boys' 1964 hit "I Get Around."
"Thank you Brian Wilson," he wrote on Instagram. "I recorded a cover of ‘I get around’ a few years ago.. never got to share it. One of my all time favorite songs ever.”
