Kane Brown Thought He Was The 'Special Guest' — Until Taylor Swift Arrived

Kane Brown admitted he thought he was the special guest at a recent event in Nashville, Tennessee.

He realized he was wrong when Taylor Swift arrived with her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Brown posted a photo on Instagram with the power couple on Wednesday night (June 24). The “2 Pair” artist wrote in his caption: “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not 😂” Some of the commenters said “we need a collab,” “framing this,” “legendary,” “a country star, a football star, and a queen walk into a nashville bar,” “MY HEART IS EXPLODING,” and more.

Brown took the stage at the event, which was part of Kelce’s Tight End University program (which he co-founded with George Kittle and Greg Olsen in 2021), and introduced Swift to the cheering crowd. A clip shared by the Kane Brown Family Instagram account shows Brown and Swift — who announced last month that she now owns all of her music after a years-long effort — teaming up to perform the pop megastar’s hit 2014 anthem, “Shake It Off.” Watch it here:
