In Japan, a new research initiative is paying people 5,000 yen (about $31 USD) for their poop—but only if it meets strict health criteria. The study, run by a Tokyo medical research company, is focused on gut microbiome research. They're looking for "high-quality" samples from healthy individuals with good bowel habits. Participants have to pass a detailed screening process and fill out daily digestive health reports. If selected, they can donate up to three times and get paid for each sample.

It's a real case of turning "number two" into yen 💴—but not just anyone can cash in! FULL STORY HERE!
