Just One Thing: Trump and Musk resume their fight
Seems like Musk isn't getting away from politics as much as he wanted to or said he would
The first two items below are actually from today: Trump says DOGE may "go back and eat Elon"
REPORTER: "Are you going to deport Elon Musk?"
— DogeDesigner (@cb_doge) July 1, 2025
TRUMP: "We'll have to take a look. We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? The monster that might have to go back and eat Elon. Wouldn’t that be terrible? He gets a lot of subsidies."

So tempting to escalate this. So, so tempting. But I will refrain for now.

If this insane spending bill passes, the America Party will be formed the next day.

Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE.

Elon Musk knew, long before he so strongly Endorsed me for President, that I was strongly against the EV Mandate. It is ridiculous, and was always a major part of my campaign. Electric cars are fine, but not everyone should be…

Other Stuff
This wasn't just any "offensive" or annoying speech. It was a call for violence. I don't know if it would be protected even in the US. It's definitely not protected in the UK. I'm always hesitant to use government to punish speech with criminal (or even civil) charges, but there's no reason the US needs to let someone like that raging anti-Semite into the country. And I love the fact that their talent agency dropped them.

I hope the House gets more spending cuts when the bill gets to a House-Senate conference (if it passes the Senate, which we might know the answer to by the time you read this: The Senate megabill is on a collision course with House fiscal hawks - POLITICO

This is a double-edged sword: On the one hand, people may be consuming news when they otherwise simply wouldn't. On the other hand, a lot of the "news" they're consuming is probably misleading or simply made-up. Social media now main source of news in US, research suggests

The last few paragraphs in an article about the global wave of antisemitism:
So what do we do?
We name it. We expose it. And we snuff it out. That means rejecting the lie that the “Free Palestine” movement is a harmless expression of solidarity with oppressed people. It’s not. It is a political warfare operation run on Maoist principles and Islamist grievances.
We must stand with the Jewish community. Not quietly, not conditionally, but unequivocally. Because the alternative is absolute hell on Earth. Jews are once again being cornered, othered, and isolated. Not in the shadows, but in classrooms, boardrooms, and brunch tables—masked by politeness, cloaked in progress, and met with applause.
History doesn’t repeat. It evolves. The next pogrom won’t start with a storm trooper. It will start with a stare across the room, a whisper in the hallway, a question that isn’t really a question. It will start with a meme. “Never again” was never meant to be symbolic. It was a vow.

The amount of fraud that people get away with because our government is so unmanageably large is insane. This the tip of the iceberg even though it's huge: Hundreds charged in $14.6 billion health care fraud schemes, DOJ says | AP News

It seems like a repeated theme on the show but why is any of this a federal responsibility? We have to stop almost all federal transfers to states.
