Is Paul McCartney plotting a US tour? A recent Instagram story sure seems to hint at one. Macca slyly shared a photo of two guitar picks on Wednesday (July 9) with a hidden and not-so-hidden message. It's clear he's teasing something because a white pick says "Paul McCartney" in red letters and a blue pick says "Got Back In 2025" in white letters, but it's the red, white and blue color pattern of the picks and writing that points to a possible US tour.

The story also directs fans to click on a link that takes them to a sign up page on McCartney's official website where they can "receive information on tour dates, pre-sales and much more..."

If he really is teasing a tour announcement, this would be an extension of his Got Back World Tour, which kicked off in 2022 with a North American trek and wrapped up in December of last year. The tour launched shortly after The Beatles: Get Back docuseries premiered.

Although he hasn't technically toured this year, Macca did surprise fans in New York with three intimate shows at Bowery Ballroom in February that led up to his appearance on the SNL50 Anniversary special.
