Kevin Jonas lost "almost all" of his money nine years ago due to a "bad business deal."

The Jonas Brothers star appeared on the July 6 episode of "The School of Greatness" podcast and opened up to host Lewis Howes about success, financial turbulence, and everything in between.

A few years after the Jonas Brothers broke up in 2013, Kevin, husband to Danielle Jonas and father to daughters Alena,11, and Valentina, 8, was down to the last 10% of his fortune, revealing that he "invested in a bunch of property and doing other things I was building at the time. Sadly, it wasn’t the right partnership, if you know what I’m saying. Can’t really get too much into it, but the sad part of it is I’ve learned a lot of lessons in that."

Things started looking up for Jonas when the "Love Bug" icons reunited in 2019, per US Weekly.

"Thankfully, for life in general, we have a second shot and bite at the apple with the band coming back together. It was fortuitous in a way. I learned this lesson — never wanted to learn it — but then at the same time, reevaluated how to approach life."

Kevin, Joe, and Nick are gearing up for their Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour, promoting their forthcoming album Greetings from Your Hometown, and will take the stage in their home state of New Jersey on August 10!
