Social media influencer and former LSU gymnast Olivia 'Livvy' Dunne revealed that she was rejected from purchasing late Baseball Hall of Famer Babe Ruth's New York City home because the building voted "not to have me live there."

Dunne, 22, who is the girlfriend of Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes, said she planned to make her "first real estate purchase" and was willing "to pay with cash," adding "I wanted this apartment bad."

“I get a call. The co-op board denied me. So pretty much the people in the building voted to not have me live there, which is fine," Dunne said in a TikTok post with the caption, "I'm just disappointed that's all" with a crying emoji.

Dunne, a native of New Jersey, said she was so far along in the process that she and Skenes hired an interior decorator before being denied.

“It got to the point where the realtor was so confident, Paul and I went, I got an interior designer because I didn’t want to bring my college furniture to Babe Ruth’s apartment, that would be like, criminal,” she said.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model said she had "no clue" why residents voted to reject her from purchasing the apartment.

“Honestly, it wasn’t financial. It could have been, for all I know, they could have been Alabama fans and I went to LSU,” Dunne said.

“Maybe they didn’t want a public figure living there, but I was literally supposed to get the keys and that week they denied me,” she added.

Ruth's three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom prewar apartment is located on the seventh floor of the building located at 345 W. 88th Street and has been on the market since March.
