What's Needed in Texas Right Now

July 9, 2025

As the numbers of dead and missing in the Texas flash flood tragedy go up so do the efforts to lay the blame for what happened.

It’s certainly understandable. The families of friends of victims, still stunned and emotionally suffering and many angry, want answers. And they deserve them.

Who and what were responsible for what happened are questions that are being asked and need to be asked.

There have been the reports about Kerrville Texas not having a flash flood siren warning system and why.

There have been reports that Texas state inspectors signed off on an emergency plan at the Christian Camp Mystic just two days before the July 4th flash flood.

The National Weather Service and federal government cutbacks are being blamed. A slow response by emergency management officials has been blamed.

There are those who are blaming cloud seeding scientists who have worked to combat dangerous droughts in Texas…with a few conspiracy theorists suggesting it was a targeted attack on American citizens using directed energy weapons or the cloud seeding technology to manipulate the weather.

There will be investigations into what happened. And they are needed.

But right now, what is more needed is for searchers to recover all those who are missing and for all of us to keep praying for all the families of the victims in Texas.
