Dr. Heavenly from Married to Medicine Is Running for Office

Reality TV star and board-certified dentist Dr. Heavenly Kimes is stepping into a new spotlight—politics. Known for her sharp tongue on Bravo’s Married to Medicine, Dr. Heavenly has announced her run for Georgia State Representative in District 63 on the Democratic ticket.

She made the big announcement at a rally outside the Georgia State Capitol on Tuesday. “I’m not a career politician,” she said. “I’m a mom, a doctor, a business owner, and I’m not afraid to stand up for what I believe in. I’m running to serve, and I’m ready to work.”

To make things even more interesting, her Married to Medicine castmate Quad Webb is her campaign manager. Fans of the show are stunned, as Dr. Heavenly is best known for stirring the pot, throwing shade, and her signature comeback, “Ya Mama!”

Still, many are saying that her bold attitude, real-world experience, and strong opinions might make her a great fit for public office.
