Curiously, it has all the traits of an organism containing the building blocks for life, yet alien to our planet, according to DNA tests performed by scientists. This also reminds us of the film Prometheus, where the "alien god" or "engineer" consumes the black oily matter, which breaks down his body into single cells. The black oil may hold the key to our origins and our purpose. Perhaps it is the beginning of the organic singularity.
